Jo is a Partner and heads the Firm’s Commercial Property Department.
Jo has extensive experience in advising a spectrum of clients in the acquisition, disposal and management of their commercial property portfolios, including prestigious retail landlords/tenants, start-up companies/entrepreneurs and private landowners. Her principal areas of expertise are dealing with commercial leases and freehold sales and purchases. Jo also has sound experience in acting for lenders, as well as negotiating option and overage agreements.
After graduating with a First Class Honours (LL.B.) from the University of Leicester, Jo trained and qualified with a leading international law firm where she acted for notable high-street retailers as well as some of the UK’s largest property investment companies. Having gained invaluable experience, Jo went on to work for medium-sized firms in the north and south of England, before returning to her East Midlands roots and joining Moss in 2020.
Jo has a professional and thorough approach to her work, whilst building personable relationships with her clients – many of whom provide repeat instructions and/or referrals.
