  • Conveyancing Solicitor/ Legal Executive – Full Time

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle your own caseload of residential property matters independently.
    • Supervise and mentor support staff.
    • Play an active role in business development, including networking and building client relationships.

     

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in all aspects of residential property conveyancing including freehold and leasehold properties, first registrations, auctions, new builds, shared ownership, transfers of equity, site acquisition and development
    • Strong business development skills with an initiative-taking approach to networking.
    • A proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently and independently whilst delivering exceptional client care.

  • Legal Cashier

    Full time hours, office based

    We are looking for applicants who have experience with legal cashiering or in a similar finance-related role. Skills required would include:

    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and credit control
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and the ability to learn/use the accounts software system for the firm
    • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

     

    Key Responsibilities would include:

    • Processing client and office account transactions in line with regulations and internal procedures
    • Bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
    • Managing incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS, CHAPS, faster pay and cheque payments
    • Allocating funds, posting disbursements, and ensuring timely payment of invoices
    • Handling transfers between client and office accounts
    • Liaising with fee earners regarding financial queries and supporting management
    • Posting ledger entries
    • Banking and posting office and client receipts and payments
