Rise of the Phoenix Running Event

On Friday 21st June 2024, Moss solicitors were proud to be the main sponsors of the Rise of the Phoenix running event which took place at Beacon Hill Country Park.

Melanie Brockbank from our Residential Conveyancing department is also part of the Race Committee and part of the reason Moss decided to get involved.

Members of staff from our Residential and Commercial Conveyancing Departments, Family and Dispute Resolution Departments took on the 5 mile main race around the challenging hilly route which from the top of the summit has amazing views across Loughborough and Charnwood.

Well done to Elisabeth Matthews, Jas Johal, Ellie Murphy, Tom Lathom and Jas Digva for flying the flag for not only Moss Solicitors but they also raised and amazing £500 for Falcon Support Services in Loughborough, smashing their original target of £250.

This event is a tough event for seasoned runners and it should be noted that some of the Moss Team have never done anything like this before.

It was lovely for them to see a friendly face in Shelley Cook at the first water station and then to see them still smiling at the end whilst being cheered on by their loved ones made the event extra special for me. 

A great event and achievement for all those involved.
