Tom qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Moss Solicitors in 2024. He has worked for several firms in the East Midlands and lives locally.
Tom is an experienced civil and commercial litigator and employment lawyer, with particular expertise in property litigation work including landlord and tenant issues. He is regularly instructed in relation to Section 21 and Section 8 Claims by residential landlords and assists commercial clients with lease renewals and dilapidations claims. Tom also advises on complex disputes relating to land such as boundaries, adverse possession and rights of way disputes. His considerable experience of advocacy in the county courts on behalf of clients and has attended over 400 court hearings in the Warwick County Court.
As well as litigation Tom has a particular interest in Employment Law and is passionate about employee rights. Tom is regularly instructed by employees local to Loughborough to advise on Settlement Agreements where an employee has been offered compensation to leave their employment and is happy to take on these cases which often call for urgent advice.
Away from work, Tom is a volunteer Event First Aider with St John Ambulance and supporter of Leicester City Football Club.
